Gintong Aklat Awards

The Rocking Horse or ang Kabayong Tumba-Tumba was the winner of the 2008 Gintong Aklat Award for Children's Literature category. Gintong Aklat Awards is bestowed upon exceptional Filipino book publishers every two years by the Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP).  The awards is a recognition and encouragement of the production of excellently published books in all facets of bookmaking.
