About the Artist: Jeho Bitancor is a multi-awarded painter, performance artist, and graphic designer based in New Jersey, USA. His paintings and performance art pieces tackle social and political issues. His own brand of symbolic figurative painting—developed in the early '80s—often dealt with issues of diaspora, alienation, resistance, and assertion. He has been featured in group exhibitions worldwide and is a recipient of numerous art awards.
