From Aldy Aguirre's 2022 solo exhibition titled “Usok at Bulaklak sa Panahon ng Martial Law” comes this limited collection of signed art prints. These soft watercolor paintings are also featured in CANVAS’ newest children’s book Hanapin ang Sagot, which hopes to pique children’s natural curiosity through poetry, reflections, trivia, and activities about this dark period in our history.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
To commemorate 50 years since the declaration of Martial Law, this exhibition presents symbols, icons, and events surrounding the Marcos dictatorship. Nineteen pieces that chronicle the rise, fall, and return of the Marcos family’s control over our country. ABOUT THE ARTIST
Si Aldy C. Aguirre ay manggagawang pangsining at ilustrador na nakabase sa Quezon City. Makikita ang marami sa mga likha niya sa mga librong pambatang inilabas ng iba’t ibang tagalathala at indipendiyenteng mga manunulat. Bahagi rin siya ng mga lumikha sa librong Si Kian, na naisama sa White Ravens Catalog ng International Youth Library sa Munich, Germany.
