About the artwork:

Kape sa Hapon is inspired by my slow afternoons at home with my two cats, Bada, the Ginger, and Sampaguita, the Calico. My coffee setup is nestled beside a window overlooking a roof frequented by neighborhood cats, creating the cozy ambiance of a small cafe."

About the artist:

Alyssa Babasa is an illustrator and art director from Quezon City. Her work is inspired by observing people and the communities in her hometown. She also likes to explore the spaces we inhabit and questions what constitutes a home. Her more personal work oscillates between the desire to grow up and to stay young.
