THE ARTISTS
SERGIO BUMATAY III is a children’s book illustrator, painter, and book designer best known for his engaging surreal and conceptual illustrations with multilayered meanings. This approach garnered him multiple awards locally and internationally, including the prestigious Peter Pan Prize in Sweden. He is also a member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He hopes to one day build a magical museum dedicated to local picture books.
JUNE DIGAN's art focuses on moods, emotions, and storytelling using delicate characters, whimsical landscapes, and lettering. She specializes in digital and traditional mediums such as watercolor, gouache, and acrylic. Digan’s works have been featured in various exhibitions, blogs, and publications. Today, she works as an independent graphic designer and illustrator. She also served as a member of the Jury for ADC Young Guns 18 and the New York Festival's Bowery Awards 2020.
JARED YOKTE is an award-winning painter and sculptor. He has received several awards including the Luzon Jurors’ Choice Award in the Philippine Art Awards 2014 and Grand Winner at ArtPetron 2009. He has also held five solo exhibitions. Yokte currently lives in Tarlac with his beautiful wife and child, and their cat Resi who now has nine kittens.
